Phoenix Valley — Front and Rear Addition, Exterior Transformation & Full Kitchen Rebuild.
This Phoenix Valley ranch came to us as a functional but forgettable 1980s build — beige board-and-batten exterior, a standard builder kitchen, and no addition of square footage in the home’s entire life. The homeowner had a clear vision and a clear number. We built to both.
Square footage was added to the front of the home and to the rear, reconfiguring the footprint without touching the original bones more than necessary. The entire exterior was resurfaced — smooth stucco, new tall vertical windows with black frames replaced the original builder windows, and a charcoal garage door and exterior sconce lighting completed a curb presence that reads nothing like the before photo.
Inside, all-white shaker cabinetry runs floor to ceiling with matte black bar-pull hardware throughout. A custom shiplap-detail range hood anchors the cooking wall above a professional gas range. White quartz countertops. A patterned decorative tile focal point behind the range, with clean subway tile elsewhere. At the center of the space, a 12-foot rectangular island was built in — integrated sink, lower-mount microwave, built-in dishwasher, and storage cabinetry on both sides. New warm wood-look LVP flooring carries through the space.
